Aadi and Karan had always been rivals. Since school days, they competed in everything—sports, exams, and even class votes. If Aadi scored the highest, Karan would try harder next time. If Karan won a race, Aadi would practice every day to beat him. They never spoke kindly to each other. Their hatred grew so strong that their classmates would joke, “They’ll never be in the same room without a fight.” Both boys believed they were just too different to ever be friends.
Days turned into weeks, and rivalry turned into a bond. They started studying together, helping each other, and cheering each other on. What once was hatred had now become a strong friendship, built not just on shared interests but on understanding and respect. One day, Aadi smiled and said, “If we’d known earlier we had so much in common, we wouldn’t have wasted years hating each other.” Karan replied, laughing, “Better late than never, right?” And just like that, two boys who once couldn't stand each other became brothers for life.
